HP Pavilion 20 All-In-One Desktop PC – 20-b323w

HP Pavilion 20-b323w Highlights -

Pros: Nice-looking screen for the price. Very affordable all in one desktop. Two USB 3.0 ports.

Cons: Entry-level components and weak processor only suited to light productivity tasks. No touch screen or full HD display. Glossy plastic bezel looks cheap and attracts fingerprints.

The HP Pavilion 20-b323w All-in-One Desktop PC is targeted at budget-minded users who don't do much more with their PCs other than browse the web and send/receive e-mails. Users can’t expect high-end computing from this machine (like intense gaming or graphic design projects) with its AMD E1-1500 Accelerated Processor, 4GB Memory and 500GB hard drive. Windows 8 admittedly runs pretty well, considering the lack of computing horsepower. Also, the lack of a touchscreen makes navigating around the Windows 8 Start screen a chore.

Performance - The AMD E1-1200 processor — a low-end dual-core chip clocked at 1.48GHz — makes it the weakest processor we have reviewed so far. But it should be said that navigating around the Start screen tiles or jumping to the desktop is quick enough. The system handles the Web just fine, but it struggles when you have too many applications open.
Storage & Memory - The HP Pavilion 20 has 4GB DDR3 SDRAM system memory (expandable to 16GB) and comes with 500GB SATA hard drive.
Display, Graphics & Sound - The HP Pavilion 20's best feature is undoubtedly it's 20 inch LCD High Definition screen, which boasts a resolution of 1,600x900. It comes with integrated AMD Radeon HD 7310 graphics card and Realtek audio.
Operating System - Windows 8.

Apart from the HP TrueVision HD webcam and SuperMulti DVD drive, the HP Pavilion 20-b323w connectivity consists of 4 USB 2.0 ports, and 2 USB 3.0 ports, as well as aux audio, RJ-45 Ethernet port, headphone and microphone jack and an all-in-one memory card reader. It also features an in-built wireless card for connecting to your wireless network.

ReviewsBucket's Verdict:
The HP Pavilion 20-b323w specifications will not blow you away, but what they will do is give you the confidence to get on with your daily tasks. This All-in-One Desktop PC will serve as an inexpensive home computer. But you should only opt for this system if you're looking for a family PC destined mainly for surfing the web and completing homework assignments or other similar tasks.
