Samsung S27C390H Highlights
Pros: Great value. Very bright screen. Energy efficient.
Cons: No VESA wall mount support.
Samsung S27C390H is very similar to Acer H276HL we have recently reviewed. It's a 27 inch widescreen LED monitor with full HD support (1920x1080 pixels). The monitor comes with a stylish design that includes a high glossy look. The 5ms response time is great for gaming. With a 1 Million:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio and 16.7 million colors, images on this monitor look crisp. Apart from the look and design, the biggest differences between Samsung S27C390H and Acer H276HL is that Samsung S27C390H is a little bit brighter and has lesser contrast ratio compared to the Acer H276HL. Contrast is the difference between the brightest and darkest areas of the image. The higher the number the better the contrast.
Also, Samsung's Eco Saving makes this monitor energy efficient. It adjusts the brightness of the monitor based on how much energy you want to save. With three energy saving modes (50%, 25% and Power Saving off), you can tailor the monitor to meet your own needs.
