LG 24M45H is another no-frills monitor very similar to Samsung T22C350ND LED monitor we have recently reviewed. The monitor offers a Full HD (1920x1080 pixels) viewing experience in a 23.6 inch screen. The screen is based on TN (Twisted Nematic) panel technology that provides good response time (5ms for this monitor), making it very good for gaming. The pixel response time on modern TN panels is fast enough to avoid the shadow-trail and ghosting effects. In combination with LED back-lighting, TN panels also offer high brightness, consume less power and are much cheaper to manufacture. No wonder this monitor is very inexpensive. However, TN displays suffer from limited viewing angles (the maximum angle at which a display can be viewed with acceptable visual performance), especially in the vertical direction. The viewing angle of Samsung T22C350ND is satisfactory, however we have seen monitors with better viewing angles like the Dell UltraSharp U2414H monitor. The monitor is very easy to set-up and the picture quality is actually quite good for the price. The LG 24M45H looks very much like a traditional monitor with a very simple design. Also, the build quality is good.

As with Samsung T22C350ND LED monitor, the LG 24M45H is a very affordable monitor with features that most home or home-office users will be happy with. Users will get reasonably good picture quality on a big 23.6 inch display with easy connectivity to a Blu-ray player or laptop via the HDMI input port. The 5ms response time allows smooth viewing of action scenes, sports and video games, with great clarity. For the price we highly recommend this monitor.
